Becks got the shock of his life when Italy's response to Dennis Pennis, TV prankster Elena Di Cioccio, snapped on her yellow cleaning gloves to pull off her groping challenge for her popular show Le Iene (The Hyenas).

In the ultimate swoop, Di Cioccio craftily stalked, moved in and cupped a stunned Becks as he chatted happily to TV reporters.

Oblivious that he was about to get sexually assaulted on live TV, Beckham banged on about everything he loves about his temporary home for the duration of his stint at AC Milan.

Moments before her clutch, Ms Di Cioccio told viewers she was determined to find out if Becks' Emporio Armani bulge was the real deal.

After the England player was shown up by Cristiano Ronaldo's recent skimpy adverts for the same designer, Ms Di Cioccio said she wanted to see "how he measured up".

"Off the pitch we have seen fascinating photographs of David Beckham in his underpants and seemingly very well endowed and even his wife says that he is well equipped and calls him Golden Balls", she said.

Moments later she was caught on camera making her swoop.

Gleefully beaming at the video camera and flashing her gloves, Di Cioccio slid her hands down Becks' body and groped football's most famous package.

Gobsmacked, Becks flashed her daggers as he stumbled back and was led away in a car.

But the humiliation didn't end there as Ms Di Cioccio gave him a poor review.

"I touched it but it's small. David you have conned us all. What did you use cotton wool? It's all a trick," she barked at him.

But the usually amicable Becks failed to see the funny side after the truth about his secret weapon was revealed to all of Italy.



An insider said after the stunt: "David was not at all pleased with this stunt. He didn't know what was going on and luckily the security team stepped in and stopped her having another go." Her parting words were: "I'll see you around."

X Factor judge Cheryl confirmed her three-and-a-half-year marriage to the serial cheat England footballer was over hours after she returned home from a trip to LA.

She finally snapped after explicit pictures of the Chelsea star ended up on a topless model's phone.

He said he did not send them. But the source said: "Cheryl's nobody's fool. She didn't believe a word.

"Then, as she suspected, more girls came forward."

Last night, Cheryl was nursing a broken heart alone in her plush home - aptly named Hurtmore House.

She shut herself away in the £4million mansion she used to share with Ashley, telling friends and even mum Joan she wanted no visitors.

A friend said: "She is absolutely devastated and exceedingly down.

"She's cancelled a week's worth of European promotion to try and sort her head out. Cheryl spends her life surrounded by people and, for once, she just wants time out."

The 26-year-old Girls Aloud singer arrived back in the UK from Los Angeles yesterday morning.

Soon after, her spokesman confirmed she had dumped Chelsea defender Ashley, who has allegedly bedded a string of women.

Cheryl was driven from Heathrow Airport to the now-empty marital home near Godalming, Surrey.

Earlier, while her flight was still in the air, injured Ashley hobbled from the house on crutches.

Ashley is said to have begged his wife not to end their marriage - despite four girls claiming he bedded them and a fifth insisting explicit pictures of the 29-year-old footballer were sent to her mobile phone.

The friend said: "Ashley was distraught, crying down the phone. He wanted his wife back and another chance. But it was too little, too late."

The X Factor beauty is said to have decided to dump Cole two weeks ago when the first allegations surfaced.

She did not believe his claims that someone else sent indecent pictures of him to topless model Sonia Wild.

Those close to Cheryl say she will never take Ashley back. She was particularly upset because she had been eager to start a family.

She recently said: "Family is definitely becoming a priority. I started to think more about having children when I met Ashley."

The end of the marriage was widely predicted. Cheryl forgave Ashley in 2008 after he was accused of cheating on her with a hairdresser - but she finally lost patience after he betrayed her with a string of other women.

Cheryl left for the States a week ago and was comforted in LA by hunky American dancer pal Derek Hough, 24, who spent 10 hours with her in her hotel room on Sunday night before leaving at 4.15am.

A close pal said: "Derek has been like a rock for Cheryl. He's told her that whatever the time, day or night, he's there for her.

"She really needs someone she can confide in and trust."

Last night, lawyer Mark Stephens said the Coles could be divorced soon after Easter if they start the ball rolling now.

He added: "By May or June this could all be over - unless one party is wanting to take the other to the cleaners.

"I can't believe they'd do that in circumstances where they are both independently wealthy. They'll go their separate ways discreetly."

Ashley is paid £100,000 a week by Chelsea and also has lucrative sponsorship deals.

They were meant to be the new Posh and Becks, the celebrity couple that everyone wanted to read about, know about and live like.

And the story of how they got together is almost identical to that of golden couple David and Victoria Beckham.

Soccer Extreme : English footballer Wayne Bridge is said to have snubbed his ex Vanessa Perroncel when she went to pick up their son.

Perroncel, 33, travelled 200 miles from her Surrey home to pick up three-year-old Jaydon from Bridge’s house in Cheshire.

However when she got there, Bridge, 29, had already left for his training ahead of the match with Bolton.

Even his mom Wendy refused to come out of the house, leaving his dad Mick to hand over Jaydon.

“It was a very brief meeting and very frosty. Wendy won’t have anything to do with Vanessa,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

Soccer Extreme : A man injured during yesterday's Premier League match at Stoke City has died in hospital.

The 30-year-old fan is thought to have been hit on the head with a bin. He was found unconscious and taken to hospital where he died in the early hours this morning.

The incident happened in the Blackburn Rovers section of the ground and police say no Stoke supporters were involved.

"The circumstances are being fully investigated," said a police spokesman. "A 25-year-old man remains in custody and is helping police with their inquiries."

The man was found by police just after 4pm yesterday in the Britannia Stadium's south stand where the travelling Blackburn supporters were seated.

Police said the man was treated at the scene for a head injury and cardiac arrest.

Chief Inspector Adrian Roberts, match commander at the game, said there were more than 1,300 Blackburn supporters at the game, which Stoke won 3-0. (guardian)

Soccer Extreme : A Spanish hacker has apparently tried to steal €800,000 from Ronaldinho's bank account.

Catalan newspaper Sport understands a thief gained access to some of his mother's mail and found the player's online banking details.

He then tried to transfer €800,000 from Ronaldinho's account to that of a presumed accomplice.

However, there was apparently a €35,000 limit on withdrawals, alerting the bank to possible fraudulent activity.

The hacker will be tried next week in Barcelona. The prosecution has asked for a three-year jail sentence and a €12,000 fine.

Ronaldinho has been under intense scrutiny of late after Il Corriere della Sera alleged he had spent the week before the Milan derby partying in a hotel.

He later acknowledged booking a hotel suite but denied organising a party in an official statement released yesterday. (football italia)

Party animals rub her up the wrong way, though.

Vanessa, 33, split up with Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge last summer after three years together, saying that ‘players and friends led him astray; he was going out more than he should have’.

They have a son, Jaydon Jean Claude Bridge, who was born in November 2006.

Soccer Extreme : Miss Perroncel, the ex-partner of Terry's England and former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge, was ''overwhelmed'' by the disclosures and was now weighing up her options, he told GMTV.

Mr Clifford, who visited Ms Perroncel on Sunday night, refused to be drawn on the veracity of allegations but insisted some claims made by the press were incorrect.

And he said Ms Perroncel had first to consider the welfare of four-year-old son before she made a decision.

''Obviously she's just overwhelmed by what has happened,'' he said. ''She has never spoken to a single journalist and she's all over all the papers with all kinds of allegations, some of which she said were true and some of which she said aren't true.

''She basically said 'what do I do? Journalists are knocking down my door, I've got people running round taking photos everywhere I go, I never sought this, I never asked for this, and I've never spoken to anybody'.''

Mr Clifford, who has talked her through the implications of speaking out, added: ''I went through what could happen, the various permutations if she talked to the media, if she doesn't talk to the media and obviously that's what she's thinking about and deciding what she wants to do in the next day or so.''

Asked whether there was any truth behind the affair, he replied: ''All I'm prepared to say is that she's known John a long time and obviously I think during that time they've become very close friends but anything more than that, I wouldn't want to say at this particular stage.

''It's really for her to decide what she wants to do.''

Meanwhile football boss Fabio Capello was weighing up Terry's future as captain.

It is understood the Italian manager will have the final say on whether he can continue to lead the national team and is expected to give his verdict well in advance of England's next match.

The pressure on Terry was exacerbated by extensive coverage in the Sunday newspapers.

''The News of the World was full of allegations yesterday about other girls that supposedly had affairs - or allegedly had affairs - with John, it's something which is obviously dominating the media at the moment and because it's such an important time, not just for John but also for England with the World Cup just a few months away,'' Mr Clifford said.

The FA has so far refused to comment but Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe said he would ask the governing body to explain its position on Terry, who failed with a High Court injunction to stop newspapers reporting claims that he had an affair with the ex-partner of his England and former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge.

Mr Sutcliffe said: ''On the field John Terry is a fantastic player and a good England captain, but to be the captain of England you have got to have wider responsibilities for the country, and clearly if these allegations are proven - and at the moment they are only allegations - then it does call into question his role as England captain.

''I speak to the FA on a regular basis, so I will be asking what their viewpoint is and we will see what comes of it.''

Bridge, 29, who has separated from Perroncel and now plays for Manchester City, said on Saturday in a statement that he did not intend to comment on the reports for the sake of the couple's son.

A gagging order on Terry's affair was lifted by Mr Justice Tugendhat at the High Court in London on Friday.
